Privacy Policy

This page explains what Jeyki Security collects when you use this site, why, and who it's shared with. It covers this website only, not work done for you as a client, which is governed by the written scope of that engagement.

Information collected through forms

The contact form collects your name, email, and message, plus optional phone number, company, company size, location, timeline, and up to four uploaded images (5MB each, screenshots of what you're dealing with).

The checklist request form collects your name, company, and email so the checklist can be sent to you.

Both forms use a short delay and a hidden field to filter out automated spam submissions, and a browser cookie that limits how often the same browser can submit (cleared automatically after 30 seconds).

Information collected automatically

When you submit the contact form, the request also captures your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, and a general device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet), so submissions can be triaged and screened for abuse. This is included in the email generated by that submission and is not stored in a separate database.

Site analytics are handled by a self-hosted Umami instance and Vercel Analytics, which record page views and general usage patterns. Neither is used to build advertising profiles, and analytics data is not linked to form submissions.

How information is used

Form submissions are used only to respond to your inquiry or deliver the checklist you requested. Submissions are emailed via Mailgun, a transactional email provider, to the inbox that handles Jeyki Security's client communication, and are not added to a marketing list or shared with anyone outside that purpose.

Third parties

Mailgun delivers form-submission emails. ipwho.is resolves a submitted IP address to an approximate location for the notification email; only the IP address is sent to it, no personal details. Cal.com powers the booking widget on the contact page and operates under its own privacy policy once you interact with it. None of these providers are permitted to use form data for their own purposes.

You can ask what information Jeyki Security holds about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time by emailing contact@jeyki.ca. For general guidance on your privacy rights in Canada, see the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
